Talakto District Training Events
Talakto Roundtable (Starting in September) - held first Thursday each month 7PM at Catholic High School (corner of Wynn Dr.& Bradford Dr).
One of the best ways for both new and experienced leaders to get the help they need and stay abreast of developments in the district is to attend the monthly Roundtable meetings, A short general meeting is held first for all attending, and then we separate into two different meetings – one for the Cub Scout leaders and one for the Boy Scout leaders. Following are the lists of topics to be covered in each Cub Scout Leaders Roundtable and Boy Scout Leaders Roundtable.
“The Training Plan”
The Boy Scouts of America's training plan not only provides training for new leaders but also provides continuing training for all leaders. In this way, leaders continue to learn through experience and from additional training opportunities. They stay up-to-date on the Scouting program and acquire new skills that help them do a better job.
